A popular hard wearing, light coloured hardwood timber, Blackbutt is a neutral light coloured variation of warm nutty hues of cream to pale straw browns, with occasional flecks of soft pinks, complimenting a variety of interior designs, where a light colour palette is required.
The grain in Blackbutt is generally straight with a medium and even texture. Blackbutt is renowned for both its strength and versatility of application. A species grown in abundance in the coastal forests in New South Wales and southern Queensland.
